In 2025, we shifted our single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc sourcing to Coquina vineyard, which is part of the 3500-acre Rancho Arroyo Grande property, adjacent to the Garcia Wilderness. It is not unusual to spot foxes, bobcats, wild pigs, coyotes, and even the elusive central coast bear roaming amongst the vines here.
Although this site is more inland than other sites on the SLO Coast, ample marine fog and air flow through the Arroyo Grande Valley, resulting in wines with cool-climate character.
After pressing the grapes, we fermented this wine in old neutral French oak barrels to provide a balance of generous aromatics while maintaining bright structure and acidity.
Tasting notes: zesty citrus, passionfruit, salinity, fresh white flowers
organic / native yeast / unfined / unfiltered
