Refund policy

We want to ensure our wines arrive to you as expected. As such, we will happily replace any wines that were physically damaged in transit when shipped from us. If this occurs, please provide a photo along with your order number within 7 days of receipt to hello@outwardwines.com and we will gladly send a replacement shipment as soon as possible.

We intentionally use Diam corks to bottle our wines to avoid the question of cork taint. Each Diam cork is guaranteed to be free from cork taint, and as such, you should not encounter cork taint in our wines. If for any reason you receive a non-Diam cork-tainted bottle (from an older vintage or a cork for sparkling wine), please send us an email with details and we will gladly replace the bottle or offer a refund, less shipping, if inventory does not allow for a replacement.

All of our wines are bottled without fining or filtration, and thus, natural sediment may occur within the bottle. This is not considered a fault in the wine and therefore is not cause for a refund.

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extreme heat or cold, and such weather conditions may adversely affect the condition of your wine while in transit and/or if poorly stored over time. During warm weather months, we may hold shipments depending on current temperatures. You may also make the request for us to hold a shipment due to weather in your area by sending an email to hello@outwardwines.com before placing your order. In all cases, we are not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions after being handed off to the common carrier. We encourage you to store all wines out of direct sunlight, in a cool area.
