2019 marks our first vintage working with Cabernet Franc, and we're thrilled to have sourced our grapes from the sustainably-farmed Curtis Vineyard, situated in the northern end of Santa Ynez Valley.
We fermented with 50% whole cluster, performing only gentle pump-overs to circulate the wine and allow for partial carbonic fermentation to develop juicy, fruit-forward character. Well-structured tannins and loadsof blue fruit round out the palate to make for a refreshing Cab Franc that is best enjoyed slightly chilled.
Aged in neutral oak barrels for 10 months. Unfined, unfiltered.
